ANALISIS PENGARUH PERILAKU MACHIAVELLIAN,

LOVE OF MONEY DAN GENDER TERHADAP PERSEPSI ETIS

ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the extent to which the influence of Machiavellian behavior , Love of money and Gender on ethical perceptions of accounting students at the University of Bina Darma . Respondents in this study were students accounting class of 2010 , 2011 and 2012.Based on the results obtained in mind that the average – average for Machiavellian behavior on a scale of 3:38 which means the interval , the value is included in the category ” High ” , for the average – average 2.78 love of money is included in the category of ” High Enough ” , for variables for male gender – men with a value of 60 or 72.3 % while 23.7 % of women and 23 or to the perception of the ethical value – average 4:54 included in the very high category . The results of the study demonstrate that 1 ) the Machiavellian Behavior significant effect on the perception of positive ethical accounting students ( H1 is accepted ) , 2 ) Love of money significant negative effect on ethical perceptions of accounting students ( H2 is rejected ) , and 3 ) a positive significant Gender ethical perceptions of accounting students ( H3 is accepted )
